Industrial Maintenance Technician

Supplemental Staffing is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians. Temp to hire opportunity for a local and stable company.
Position
Summary: Maintains production and quality by ensuring proper operation of machinery and other mechanical tools and equipment.
Duties &
Qualifications:
- Read Technical manuals/ diagrams to understand equipment and controls
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
- Detect minor problems by performing basic diagnostics tests
- Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery/ pm equipment
- Test malfunctioning machinery to determine what repair is needed and make said repairs
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Install pipes and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical/ hydraulic/ mechanical/ plumbing systems that are not working
- Minor to major fabrication / welding will be required
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists
- Reassemble machines after the completions of repair or maintenance work
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Must be comfortable with climbing and confined spaces.
- Must be able to pass background & drug screen.
- $13 - 16/ hour based on experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
