Inventory Control Specialist

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Inventory Control Specialist to work in the Bowling Green, OH area. This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Responsibilities:

Design, evaluate and revise inventory and materials management processes, procedures, and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing overall finished goods and materials stock holding.
Investigate discrepancies between physical and systematic inventory by analyzing inventory transaction logs.
Perform root cause analysis on inventory reporting and implement corrective actions.
Review transactional history to ensure all material has a digital ledger that matches its physical life.
Understand material flow throughout the facility, help identify areas of excessive waste procurement.
Identify variances in production reporting to ensure material is deducted from inventory properly.
Cooperate with production, receiving, and accounts receivable to confirm transactions are being reported to the correct accounts.
Develop month end reports to present to staff on departmental progress and challenges.
Establish, execute, and monitor a building wide cycle count program.
Other duties as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
