Lubrizol is hiring an HR Generalist to support our Advanced Materials operations at the Bowling Green, OH site.
This role will have an opportunity to positively impact culture, maintain compliance, build relationships with key internal stakeholders and provide HR support to onsite employees.
Job Description:
The HR Generalist will deliver local HR services for the Bowling Green site under the guidance of the Site HR Manager, including but not limited to:
Partner with Talent Acquisition to generate offers for internal/external candidates and/or coordinate with third party agencies to fill niche or hard-to-fill requisitions Conduct in-person or site-specific onboarding program activities Schedule locally required training & learning sessions and track completion as needed Provide direct support to managers in various HR processes & programs, including compensation administration, performance management, and exit management Coordinate compliance reporting; maintain site physical employee records as needed; support overall deployment of standard/custom reports and analytics Supports Site HR Manager on Labor and Industrial Relations (e.
g.
CLA and pay negotiations, CLA preparations and research) Support Employee Relations GPO in investigations and case resolution for local managers & employees (up to and including employee labor court litigations with third party law firm) Support arbitration with external parties for significant, unresolved local manager / employee complaints / grievances (e.
g.
, requiring legal measures) Cooperate with auditors, including site-specific internal and external audits Partner with Leveraged Services (LS) to resolve employee/manager questions and support HR service delivery as needed, including but not limited to:
Validate job requirements and requisition data and route for approval Develop talent pools, maintain university relationships, and participate in recruiting events Archive electronic employee records per company policy and local law(s) Support the resolution of employee inquiries including payroll, data issues, schedule changes and to consolidate, transmit and audit time submissions Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Minimum 3 years of HR experience Experience in delivering HR services to a site or in a front-line, manufacturing or operations environment (preferred) What Lubrizol offers:
