JOB SUMMARYThe Manager will manage physician and allied practitioner credentialing programs at Riverside and will guide coordination of the credentials processes throughout OhioHealth with a focus on supporting and ensuring best-practice, efficient, and cost-effective credentialing programs.
The Manager will identify areas of opportunity to maximize efficiencies and reduce redundancies in the physician and allied practitioner credentials arena.
These activities will promote systemness and increase physician, allied practitioner and associate satisfaction through streamlined processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESOhioHealth System40%Develop, lead and manage an effective system-wide credentialing program to maximize efficiencies and reduce redundancies in the physician and allied practitioner credentials arena across the system.
The Manager will lead and manage credentialing staff across the OhioHealth system to assure that targeted objectives for credentialing programs are in place.
The Manager will coordinate system-wide opportunities pertaining to physician and allied practitioner credentialing and will be the system lead on behalf of the hospitals for the Credentialing System Process Improvement Team C-SPI t.
Serve as the system lead for all Medical Staff Offices within OhioHealth, with a focus on reducing redundancy and streamlining credentialing processes.
The Manager will establish and implement protocols for tracking information required for initial credentialing and re-credentialing, as well as information required by regulatory agencies for both physicians and allied practitioners.
Serve as OhioHealth system lead on various physician and allied practitioner projects and initiatives such as the system-wide on-call directory.
Responsible for management of physician and allied practitioner credentialing data as well as the generation of complicated reports for both internal and external use for example, OhioHealth Marketing and Communications or the Ohio Department of Health h.
Riverside Methodist Hospital 60 % The Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Riverside medical staff office including hiring, training, mentoring, evaluating and counseling associates; oversight of physician on-call schedules; and management of credentialing data.
The Manager will oversee on-boarding of new physicians and allied practitioners.
The Manager will also generate credentialing reports for the hospital Presidents Senior Leadership Team, and provide oversight of the indigent care program.
The Manager will have responsibility for the development of Medical Staff Department and Section Rules and Regulations and delineation of privileges, and the development of credentialing criteria for new procedures.
The Manager will serve as the lead representative for all Riverside accreditation surveys.
